Eat great food

Eat great food, and that doesn’t mean McDonald’s every night. Great food is that which makes your body feel great: healthy, nutritious home-cooked foods. Fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains are all great foods that should make up the bulk of your diet. Overeating, starving and eating processed foods should not. Also try to avoid fatty foods and fast food like burgers, pizzas and French fries as much as possible..

Depending on how old you are and how fit you currently are, you must find the right exercise for you. In addition, weight training will add immensely to your overall fitness level when you spend 20 minutes at least two, or preferably three days per week. This will make your muscles stronger, your metabolism will get a boost, and thereby your health will improve.

Water has zero calories and it helps maintain the fluid levels in your body. It also helps you to maintain your health in a number ways. Drinking a minimum of eight to ten glasses of water per day will be beneficial. You can always substitute water for soft drinks and processed drinks that have plenty of sugar and weight-increasing calories.

Floss your teeth regularly

Although the actual connection between flossing your teeth and health and longevity is a subject of investigation, it is a known fact that you can maintain good health, if you floss your teeth on a regular basis.

Find purpose in life

Have a social purpose in life and work towards it. Keep learning new things and make your life worthy of living. Join a social group and do what you can to reach out and help others. Focus on bringing happiness to others and you will see that your health level rises.
